X-Dream
Real names: Marcus C Maichel and Jan Mueller

Biography:Marcus C Maichel and Jan Mueller came about with X Dream in 1991. They met as result of some technical computer problems Jan was facing after this they decided to combine equipment and talent for a recording session. Before the creation of X-Dream they worked on various other projects together. The style that they were then projecting was more along the lines of techno as opposed to the trance that now they are well known to generate. They released thirteen singles and two albums with Hamburgs Tunnel Records under various names such as XME, Moondust, The Pollinator, Organic Noise and C.O.P. X-Dream was introduced to psychedelic trance at the first Waldheim Party in Hamburg. As a result of this party Marcus and Jan fell head first into the deep crevices of Psychedelic Underground Trance. They began evolving in their new surroundings only to produce "Panic in Paradise" on TIP Records. Immediately after this they were signed to Blueroom resulting in "Frog" a 12” and CD single. The bullfrog sample used in this track was actually recorded in a Mexican desert during a peyote session. As time went by the X-Dream phenomena caught on like wild fire. They became well-known faces at party circuits across the globe. Even amidst their tours to Europe, Japan, Israel and America they released two singles "Brain Forest/Stop" and "Radiohead", which were followed by their debut album "Radio" released in March 1998.From then till now numerous albums, singles and compilations later the members of X-Dream can also be found on other spin offs such as Noosphere, The Delta, Fools and Tools as well as a number of other pipeline collaborations with Simon Posford and Tim Schuldt.
