Biography:

S-Range is Anthony Sillfors, a Swedish trance act from Gothenburg. Originally a pro skateboarder, he has been checking out the trance scene since 1992. His first taste came from a party he visited during his vacation in Mexico. Having no major musical background he has been a keen listener all of his life. Picking up inspiration from daily life instances as well the mysteries of science, he incorporates them to exhibit his own personal style. Signs of his interest towards producing music could be seen towards the end of 1997 when he began building his home studio. In 1999, his home studio saw its first release with the track "Apocalypse" on DJ Bims Medium Records label. Almost two years later he released his debut album "2001" with a more accessible sound as compared to the usual array of progressive/minimal trance. The album shares an influence from the early German techno masters such as Sven Vath, Westbam, etc. Anthony now works in the same studio complex as former skateboarding buddy and current DJ Anti. This studio has also been the playing ground for some of trances biggest names such as Atmos and Noma. S-Range can also be found releasing on Flying Rhino, Spiral Traxx and MDMA Recs. His music is best described as a science fiction sound oriented morning style.
