Israeli
Biography:Udi, (also known as DJ Goblin) and Yoni were both drawn to music from an early age. DJ Goblin was born in 1979 and commenced his career at the early age of 12. He started with dance-music and by 16, had moved into House, spinning mostly on vinyl. When Udis not DJing or working on an album, he may be found playing the guitar or keyboard. Yoni, born in 1977, grew up in a musical home and was influenced by his father who was also a musician. He helped develop Yoni’s interest in music as well as exposing him to a wide selection of sounds. He grew up listening to a lot of different stuff especially the early 90s and early techno. They met during the hot rave season of 1997 while they were both partygoers. Udi who was in the techno scene, had just bought a computer and started building his studio aiming at producing his own house music, while Yoni was persuading him to start making trance music. Soon Udi also realized the simplicity of house music as compared to the soul startling depths of trance. Their first track was released under the name Children of the Doc(responsible for the killer "Bionic Bong"). The name PsySex was conceived during the finishing stages of the first PsySex track "Four Days of Madness" (with Dave Saragosi- Kailum). They were facing a midi problem with the "system exclusive" or in short- "sysex". Meanwhile Avi Nissim from Astral Projection decided to publish the track "Welcome Friends" in "Israels Psychedelic Trance Vol.1", giving PsySex their much deserved break. Till their latest "Hardcore Blastoff", they have not compromised their pumping style. Udi and Yoni have also started a new project under the name of name Koopa Troopa, which is a freestyle project not meant for the trance dance floor but more in style with electro and 80s electronic music.
